City Councillor Tim Ward

Biography: Tim Ward first arrived in Cambridge as a student, and he moved to Arbury 1980 where he lives with his wife and those of their three children who aren’t away at university. Having read computer science at Cambridge he now works as a freelance computer programmer, mostly in connection with mobile phone systems.

Tim has been a city councillor for Arbury since 2000, and, as well as carrying out the normal work of a ward councillor, is Executive Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Transport.

Amy Ellis

Biography: Amy moved to Cambridge in 2000 with her husband Dan who is originally from Cambridge.  She has been bringing up their 3 children and working part time in women’s and children’s health as a self employed body therapist and yoga teacher.  Her masters in Medical Anthropology feeds her wish to promote community harmony and cohesion.

Rhodri James

Biography: Rhodri James is a relative late-comer to Arbury, having only lived in the ward for the last twenty years. He came to Cambridge as a student, and stayed because all the computing jobs were here. He now works in a computer consultancy, mostly doing audio and video work.

Rhodri is a regular at the Church of the Good Shepherd, and enjoys singing, reading (especially SF & fantasy), and boardgames.
